Personal Health History
Dorota knows firsthand what it’s like to live with poor digestive health, having suffered from a fragile immune system when she was younger. She endured constant infection and became overmedicated and sensitive to many foods. Robbed of energy, she spent lots of time in bed at home and in hospital.
But she successfully overcame these challenges and has since devoted her life to researching what it takes to restore and protect health and putting this knowledge into practice.
Dorota’s reasons to specialise in digestive health are directly affected by the fact that she also watched her father to suffer from ill digestive health and die from bowel cancer at young age. She believes that a lot of intergenerational health suffering caused by mismanagement of gut issues can be treated and prevented.
Dorota was born in Poland, where she grew up on a family farm, these formative years had led her to develop strong, down to earth values and appreciation for nature.
