At one of the talks I did recently at Trupp Cooking School I’ve realized how many people aren’t aware of how important it is to choose organic food. Today I’m sharing with you some advice about why it is so important to eat organic food. Specifically, in relation to avoiding toxic herbicides that are used on conventionally grown food.
Eating organic is so important because you are not ingesting many of the agricultural chemicals, which can actually cause more health concerns than people realise.
Pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and fertilizers used in conventional farming aren’t good for us. I have done some detective work for you on one kind of herbicide that may illustrate for you how much trouble these chemicals can be.
Let’s look at Glyphosate (which is in such brands as Roundup); it is a broad-spectrum systemic herbicide used to kill weed around the globe. Check out my latest video for short but detailed explanation why it is important to eat organic and avoid these toxic poisons!
