We all know that Vitamin C is great for your skin as it hydrates and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. It is because Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation and collagen is a protein that makes up our skin, bones, teeth, blood vessels, eye, heart, and, in fact, essentially all parts of the body!
One way to get more vitamin C in your diet and improve your skin is to simply increase your strawberries consumption.
A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition revealed that strawberries have properties that can reduce wrinkles.
Today I am sharing with you a guilt free recipe of Vitamin C rich strawberries dipped in magnesium-rich chocolate:
100g dark chocolate, chopped
100g milk chocolate, chopped
100g white chocolate, chopped
500g strawberries, washed, dried
Place dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan half-filled with simmering water (make sure the base of the bowl doesn’t touch the water) and stir occasionally with a metal spoon until chocolate melts. Transfer to a serving bowl. Repeat with milk chocolate and white chocolate and place in serving bowls.
Place chocolate and strawberries on a serving platter and serve immediately!
