GAPS Diet Workshop – heal your gut

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who joined us at last weekend’s GAPS workshop at Trupp Cooking School.

As many of you know, this is my favourite course because it has the potential to dramatically change people’s lives. Needless to say, I am thrilled to have been able to develop the course content after completing my GAPS practitioner training in New York.

This topic is close to my heart because I successfully overcame my own digestive and immune system weaknesses in the past. Now I am fighting for my son’s digestive wellness by utilising the GAPS diet protocol. In fact, at the moment I am living the GAPS lifestyle with him, and I have to say – I feel great, better than ever!

When I began the GAPS diet I felt very tired, but this turned around after a few weeks and I quickly regained my energy. My son has also responded well to the diet. While it isn’t an easy program to implement, it is doable, and it has been very rewarding to see the benefits firsthand – as a parent and as a practitioner.

I wish all of my students the best of health. Don’t forget that I have created a GAPS support group that will meet regularly- book your spot HERE. This is where you can share your stories with me and with each other. I am really looking forward to seeing you again and assisting you in any way I can. This group is also open to newcomers, including those who are interested in undergoing the diet.

I have also created a Facebook group to help you connect with like-minded people in-between the support group meetings. In addition, remember that I see patients privately. If you feel you need an appointment to aid your healing journey, then I am here for you. To book an appointment contact me on 0405022625.

For those of you who are wondering what happens in our GAPS workshop, it is a two-day course for anyone who wants to learn how to heal their gut through a dedicated diet. It is an expanded version of our course ‘Heal your gut with the lost art of fermentation & probiotic foods’ and is suitable for those who are affected by gut dysbiosis (and the associated psychological/ systemic problems), irritable bowel syndrome, and food intolerances and allergies.

In the class you will learn:

  • how to implement your GAPS diet
  • how to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks utilising foods that are allowed by your dietary protocol
  • how to structure your diet
  • how to shop for your food
  • how to prepare key probiotic foods
  • which supplements to take
  • why the GAPS condition develops and what are the signs and symptoms of it

You will also receive a water + dairy kefir and kombucha tea starters.
