Some interesting nutritional facts about Açai

The açai berry is an inch-long, reddish-purple fruit. It comes from the acai palm tree, which is native to Central and South America.

Some studies show that acai fruit pulp is even richer in antioxidants than cranberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, or blueberries. It is available in Australia in powdered form in health food stores. It is a wonderful food that adds great nutrition to your family diet.

Looking at the specifics, it’s important to point out the antioxidant anthocyanin, which is abundant in açai berries, this antioxidant has been demonstrated to lower oxidative stress and inflammation and promoting brain health.

Anthocyanins abundant in açai berries also have been shown to enhance and improve memory. They are thought to work by inhibiting neuroinflammation, activating synaptic signaling, and improving blood flow to the brain.

My favourite, high quality powdered Acai berries comes from Power Superfoods. You can purchase it online via this LINK.
